Half-Yearly Exams; Argh!

Next week we are doing half-yearly exams! This is the first time if ever done them since i'm only in year 9. I've done tests and such in class of course, but the thought of exams scares me a lot! So here's a few pictures I found on Pintrest about exams!

Does anyone else seem to completely foget everything and have a total mind blank when it comes to exams and tests? I know I do! Study, study, study, Nikki!!

Surrealism Art!

So in Art class we were assigned to get inspiration from surrealist artists. I chose Salvador Dali as my surrealist artist and incorporated his "personality" into my final piece of art work. My teacher, Mrs Blaby, gave us the option of choosing 2 blind objects from a box that we had to include in our drawing. I pulled out a horse and chair so I came up with the idea below. I free hand drew it all, and used water colours to paint it. I hope you all like it!

Macro Photography

In Photography Class, I went out to take a few snap shots of macro images. A few were taken of flowers, nature and insects. Here they are.

Lino Printing

In Art class we had to draw a picture of something that challenged us but wasn't too simple to draw. I drew a picture of a little blue bird sitting among branches in the shape of a love heart. Here are a few of my results from printing them on paper, tissue paper, newspaper and using water colours to paint one.

Blue Pencil Photography

In Photography class we were assigned to take photos of a ceratin colour. I chose to take photos of the colour blue and came up with the idea of using blue pencils. I then edited 6 original copies in Photo Shop, here are my creations.
